Hi there, my name is Jermaine Gordon. Most of my younger life left me feeling inadequate and overcome with fear.
Like you, I used to feel directionless. I used to feel dumb because that’s the name they called me. I suffered through the pain of emotional and mental abuse from the age of nine. My family didn’t have much, so we struggled a lot.
I kept moving from project to project for years, hoping they would all add to a legacy.
I struggled to find people who believed in me—called ugly and nasty names – Bullied almost every day. When I started working, I was a committed employee. I received three promotions before I completed my first year. I worked for a large management company with over a thousand two hundred employees.
One day while visiting a TV Studio in New York, a woman approached me after I finished singing.
She inquired, “Sir, do you have any DVD of your teachings?”
Startled, I replied, “Uh?” She continued, “I love your teachings.”
” You share many nuggets of truth that gave me so much more life as you introduced each song in your performance.”
After that, I never paid much attention, as I hated being called a preacher. I have even declined the appointment as a pastor six times.
Then the pandemic came. I reached out to my network and offered encouragement, guidance and support. The Spirit of God empowered, so I equipped others.
Then the testimonies started pouring in. Persons shared stories of how their personal and professional lives had improved. Their ministries and businesses were growing through these monthly interactions.
A few people asked me to set up a community so they could subscribe to monthly teachings. The word ‘teachings’ still never rests well with me, like that of a preacher
I was always looking for ways to serve my people. I was at peace with God; I would not call myself a Preacher or a Teacher but ‘An Equipper’.
I immediately started preparing this platform to connect people of like-mindedness and heart. I started equipping people for life.
People want more from their relationships, lives, business and ministries. Life doesn’t equip us enough for what is ahead.
I knew it was time to go live online and equip people. Because when I teach, people get free, they are inspired and STRETCHED to the next level.”
Many people who STRETCH mistakenly believe they are STRESSED. Some of the struggles were a new job, a child, an old or a new relationship.
